Preparation Before Use

Since cholla wood is a natural product, we recommend preparing it before adding it to your aquarium.

1. Rinse thoroughly to remove any loose debris.
2. Boil for 15–20 minutes to help sanitize the wood and speed up water absorption.
3. Allow the wood to cool, then soak it in water for 24–48 hours until it becomes waterlogged.
4. Place it in your aquarium and enjoy its natural beauty.

Some pieces may still float initially. This is completely normal and they will eventually become fully waterlogged.
